Reviews
We explored this Italian Mediterranean gem in the Ballard neighborhood. From the small plates, we indulged in the grilled artichoke and oyster mushrooms, which set the stage for what was to come. The star of the show was undoubtedly the pacherri pasta, its circular shape reminiscent of calamari. The crumbly chili pieces added a pleasant kick, although I personally could have used a bit more heat.
Now, for the vegetable dishes, they were described as grilled or roasted, but in my opinion, they leaned more toward a charred flavor profile, which wasn't to my taste. However, my friend adored the charred bits, and I'm glad someone enjoyed them.
For cocktails, I had the Cozumel cooler martini, which I loved! The icing on the cake was everything was reasonably priced. A unique dining experience with a few surprises, but overall, a great find in Seattle, made even better by the pleasant outdoor and indoor seating options.
Had a wonderful dinner here. They have a variety of cocktails, all are very good! Love their small dishes more than their main courses. Their small dishes are unique and tasty. Recommend crispy olives, squash blossoms, beef tartare, and charred broccoli.
It’s hard to find a street parking around the restaurant. No dress code. Had better make a reservation.
Like this place! Food is amazing: all the starters are so good and highly recommended. For Main courses, I like capunti and salmon. We’ve tried 10+ cocktails and all of them are goood! Overall, highly recommend food and drinks, staffing are so friendly. Will come back for sure! ❤️
Fantastic and knowledgeable service, great aesthetic inside, and right next to the Ballard farmers market.
What’s not to love? Will be going back. Make sure you snag a reservation so you don’t have to wait, but if you forget you can always browse the market if you go on a Sunday. Parking options somewhat limited but this section of Ballard is super walkable.
This is such a good restaurant, I love the small plates because it reminds me of Spanish tapas. My favourite is the snap pea salad, very refreshing yet packed with flavours. Cocktails are reasonably priced and well balanced. The service is very attentive, we brought our puppy here and they offered water and ice as it was a hot day. I also loved the outdoor patio, definitely come here if you’re in the area, you won’t be disappointed!
One of the better brunch experiences I’ve ever had. Our server, Ethan, was knowledgeable, attentive, and went above and beyond. And the food was, to put it mildly, outstanding. The menu options were creative and the flavors were on point. I highly recommend; I know I’ll be going back when I’m in town (from Orange County, although I grew up south of Seattle).
Consistent mixed bag for me. I've come here for HH, date night, dinner, and anything in between. The latest was brunch with a few girlfriends. Four of us came in and ordered the following:
- Bloody Mary(s)
- Cold Brew(s)
- Charred Broccoli, and Dutch Fries to share
- Smoked Salmon Toast
- Steak & Sunny Eggs
The food was so good! I was so impressed by the Smoked Salmon and felt awesome about my choice, since 2 others got it! It had such an aromatic and delicious flavor to it, and was filling from the avocado smash yet not heavy. Also, special shout out to their Bloody Mary. It was perfect - for me that means you can taste the alcohol and it has a heavier/more flavorful, spicy mix.
The one thing this place consistently lacks is service. The last three times I've been in, I've had bad service from different people. This time, she seemed inconvenienced by absolutely anything we asked - including when she'd forget something we ordered. It's one thing if we're being needy, but she barely checked on us once and our water was never refilled in the hours we were there.
The food and our waiter was quite lovely. Experience was soured a bit when another staff member, I believe the manager, spoke quite condescendingly to my father. Our waiter turned the music down slightly and the lights up a little since my father is partially deaf. Just in the area we were seated. This other staff turned it back, and when my father tried to tell him our waiter adjusted it for him he quite rudely explained it was for the ambiance. He couched down and spoke to my father like he was an child. He's partially deaf, not stupid. It was not appreciated.
Again, our waiter was amazing and the food is lovely but we will not be returning.
